How to use the SOS function for emergency rescue
Author: Brittany Lin NOCO® Team Leader
A car's alternator can fail for a variety of reasons, whether it's a broken belt or a malfunctioning alternator itself. This can cause the charging system to stop working, resulting in a dead battery. The battery light will come on and the car's electronics and lights will gradually dim or go out as the battery's charge levels drop. Then, when the battery's charge levels drop, the car will shut down and not start. NOCO Genius Boost UltraSafe car jump starters are an extremely useful tool when this happens.
Imagine a situation where Boost provides a backup charge for someone's cell phone, powers a heated travel blanket to keep someone warm in cold weather, or signals for help when someone's hazard lights are out. Read about Nicole, a GB70 owner, who knows how to use Boost in an emergency!
